Yes, yes, and yes - expand the scope, broaden the vision, open the clubhouse. Anyone who doesn't is just doing yet another goddamn gaming podcast.

That's awesome about Glass, and especially that games are on his radar. Lucky you!

Just to let you, and any readers know, Egor is not gone. He did sell the Henrietta storefront, primarily for medical reasons IIRC. However, he still still has a small store in Hilton NY, to the NW of Rochester. (Milennium primarily sells 'new games'.) He is still one of the top five rare and used games dealers in the country. He still attends Gencon and Origins. He still maintains the Want List, and does mail order to anywhere in the world. You can contact Egor at crazyegor@aol.com.

In case it hasn't spread to here, Cubicle 7 will be releasing a new, licensed Doctor Who role-playing game this summer.

They announced it 5dec7, here: http://www.cubicle-7.com

The new forums are here: http://cubicle7.clicdev.com/f/index.php?trk=cubicle7&c=7

And you gotta know that RPGPundit is gone bonkers about it. http://weblog.xanga.com/RPGpundit/

I don’t know why people make this sound like rocket surgery. (Well actually I do¹) It’s simply the ‘flow’ as described by the psychologist Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi. (See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flow_%28psychology%29 It describes it all in clear non-technical language.)

¹ Story-Gamers (centralized on The Forge) don’t see any point in this kind of play and thus write it off in their theories. Since their theory-space is the first formalized with a community, it stands to reason that many people don’t realize that it isn’t the only game in town.

Their basic package is very reasonable - $7.95/month with a two-year contract, $9.95/month for 1 year. For that, you get unlimited sub-domains and SQL databases, 200 GB of storage and even better, one-click installs of things like Wordpress, Joomla and forum software!

I've moved to Dreamhost (www.dreamhost.com) - I was with IXWebhosting.com - don't use them or Dot5Hosting. They both are more trouble than they're worth. the one thing that I can definitively tell you NOT to do is to use any sort of ranking service on the web. I consulted quite a few before choosing both my last two hosts, and I've been unhappy with them.

Go with word of mouth. And this mouth says: Dreamhost.
